The Conservatory Co-Directors
Teresa Gotanco
Born and raised in New Jersey, Teresa-Marie Gotanco was first introduced to the Continuo Arts Foundation as a graphic designer, singer, and accompanist in 2017. In 2022, she transitioned into the role of Co-Director of the Conservatory. Prior to her involvement at Continuo Arts, Ms. Gotanco enjoyed an extensive career as an accomplished pianist, traveling around the NY/NJ region to play for various churches, choirs, and musicals. With a passion for voice science, vocal health, and authentic expression in performance, she has taught voice classes and provided vocal coaching to clients from all walks of life in pop, jazz, musical theater, and opera.
Ms. Gotanco holds a Bachelor of the Arts in Music from Rutgers University.
Skyler Klein
Skyler Klein is an active music educator based in the New York / New Jersey area. Originally joining the Continuo Arts Foundation as a Sonare member in 2018, he has since served as Young Artist at the 2018 Minuetto Music Festival, Assistant Conductor directing the Continuos, and now most recently as Co-director of the Conservatory. His mission to bring skills and knowledge to his students is easily seen in his work in choir rehearsals, vocal coachings, piano lessons, and musicianship training.
Mr. Klein holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Westminster Choir College of Rider University, and is currently pursuing his Master of Music in Music Education with an Emphasis in Kodaly at Lakeland University.
